Good day ladies and gentlemen. Let me use this special day to welcome you again to the Affections intl group.
For the benefit of a brief introduction again, Affections int'l is an NGO with a group of passionate individuals who are majorly concerned about the child's early life foundations, stemming from a universally known fact that,
"Children are the touchstone to a healthy society".
We believe in the truth that the overall makeup of an individual at adulthood is determined by his/her early life (childhood) exposures nurtured by his 'environment'.
Environment in a broad context includes every communication a child experiences during his years of neurological and physical development. This communication comes from his guardians,micro and macro society at large.
Hence, an ideal environment provided for a child to thrive, greatly and positively influences his success rate in the society.
We focus on the child's environment of learning, helping every child within our reach and capacity to enjoy the benefits of a rightful standard of learning,and a learning environment. We do this by 'educating' parents or guardians, imparting schools and advocating on behalf of these little ones before the society, concerning their well being.
Majority (75%) of the children in this our society attend low cost and community schools. Visit them and see how much this children are disadvantaged in learning, under pathetic classroom environments, compared to the few of their mates who attend elite schools.
Most of these schools lack 'basic' educational facilities, and are far from being convenient for this children to cope.
And after all, these children return home to a less priviledged environment.
If children are the touchstone (yardstick) to a healthy society, and majority of our children are under educated, would you classify our society as healthy??
Fellow nobles, you too can lend a voice, an action or any little contribution towards this dream of helping our children, and our society at large.
